Meet Chloe Horseman. Chloe and her boyfriend spent 8 days driving from Petaluma, CA to New York City in a 1985 Chevy C20. She shared intimate photos with us, and discussed her experience of traveling during such a unique period.

What was it like to take a road trip right now?

It was so beautiful to be able to see America during this time. Most everything was closed, including national parks, so we really just took our time enjoying the ride and views.

Did you have any endearing encounters with other travelers or locals? 

Not a ton just because of coronavirus, but our truck broke down outside of Little Rock and a local stayed with us till we felt safe. So sweet.

How was traveling with a partner? 

It was such an intimate time for us. Me without work, him juggling work from home, an old truck, a puppy, 110 degree weather, no AC, staying safe. Grew together so much on this trip. Learned how to support each other in ways we didn’t know before.

How do your travels enhance or shape your sensuality? 

Travel not only pushes us outside of the comfort of our home but also challenges you to know who you are outside of that. I think travel is essential to everyone. You must know yourself outside of comfort.
